Pastoral Assistant for Communications & Liturgy - Immaculate Conception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parishes, Everett (01/04/2022)

The Pastoral Assistant for Communications & Liturgy, under the leadership of the Pastor and PAA, will serve Immaculate Conception & Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parishes in creating a communications plan and directing parish worship programs as we move from two parishes into one newly formed parish in July 2022. This position will start out at 20-29 hours per week and salary is DOQ.

On the communications side, this person will be tasked with developing, managing, and delivering a comprehensive, unified, and effective communications strategy using websites, print material, social media, announcements, video, and all other appropriate mediums. The liturgy component will be to direct and coordinate the work of the liturgy teams and committees. Pastoral Assistant for Administration - St. Pius X Catholic Church, Mountlake Terrace (12/8/2021)

Music Director - Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church, Woodinville (12/3/2021)

Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church in Woodinville, WA, is seeking a Music Director. Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation - St. Alphonsus Parish, Seattle (11/10/2021)

St. Alphonsus Parish, a parish located in the heart of Ballard, is seeking an experienced, energetic person to serve as Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation. This person should be creative self-starter with a passion for evangelization, and a clear understanding of relational ministry in forming disciples through retreats, religious education, socials, service opportunities and more.

ST. MATTHEW PARISH has an opening for a full time, 40 hour-a-week Custodian. Job tasks include cleaning and light maintenance for the parish and school buildings and grounds, to include dust mopping and/or vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, collecting and emptying garbage and recycle, and washing windows. Pastoral Asst. for Evangelization of Youth & Young Adults – St. Anthony Parish, Renton (09/20/2021)

POSITION PURPOSE

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement the parish’s commitment to youth and young adult ministry in a comprehensive manner. This includes the following elements: catechesis, evangelization, social action, community building, spirituality, liturgy, guidance and advocacy.

  1. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    1. Participates in the comprehensive planning, implementation, and evaluation of the parish’s programs, goals, and objectives, with specific focus on Evangelization of Youth and Young Adults. Serves as a professional resource to parish staff regarding youth and young adult ministry.
    2. Participates in the Program Staff and All Staff meetings and activities.
    3. Assures the development of programs and activities for middle school and high school youth that foster spiritual formation and on-going faith opportunities. This should include but not be limited to retreats, religious education, socials, recreation, athletic activities, outreach programs, youth-oriented liturgies and community service opportunities.
    4. Serves as a resource to St. Anthony School Staff and families in coordination with the School Principal.
    5. Assures the on-going implementation of the youth Confirmation Sacramental Preparation program of the parish. This will entail two different levels of instruction as needed during the conversion period from High School level Confirmation to Junior High Confirmation.
    6. Provides parish support for the young adults (ages 18 -35) of St. Anthony parish that fosters spiritual formation and evangelization. This could include retreats, religious education, socials, community service outreach, and liturgical celebrations that may be coordinated with other local or regional parishes.
    7. The Pastoral Assistant for Evangelization of Youth & Young Adults recruits, enables, directs, trains, supervises and provides general and specific direction to adult parishioner volunteers involved with the Youth programs and activities.
    8. Administers the Youth & Young Adult budget with support from the Administrative Staff for depositing funds and coordinating payments of expenses.
    9. Coordinates Youth Evangelization and Confirmation meetings, celebrations, and other events with the parish calendar.
    10. Provides support to the CYO Director as needed to insure the Catholic aspect of CYO is instilled in the youth participating in the sports programs.
    11. Maintains a level of knowledge and skills required for the ministry. Reading appropriate materials and attending workshops and conventions accomplish this. The Pastoral Assistant for Evangelization of Youth & Young Adults also participates in regional, Archdiocesan and National Professional organizations.
    12. Performs other duties as appropriately assigned to me by the pastor.
  2. REQUIREMENTS
    1. Catechetical Certification for Archdiocese of Seattle or comparable.
    2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Youth Ministry or teaching.

On-Call Site Manager – Immaculate Conception Church, Seattle (09/13/2001)
