Join Archbishop Paul D. Etienne, Archbishop John C. Wester from the Archdiocese of Sante Fe, and a delegation of archbishops from Nagasaki and Hiroshima for a special Interfaith Prayer Service for Peace at St. James Cathedral in Seattle at 6:30 pm. - 12:10 pm Mass with the Japanese Peace Delegation
- All-day (9 am to 8 pm) Veneration of the Hibaku Maria
- 6:30 pm Interfaith Prayer Service for Peace
About the Pilgrimage of Peace:
Seattle is the last stop for the Japanese delegation, who have been on a two-week Pilgrimage of Peace to the United States, including New York City, Sante Fe and Las Vegas. They are part of the Partnership for a World Without Nuclear Weapons (PWNW), a collaboration of the dioceses of Santa Fe, Seattle, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki and many supporters around the world.
