Choir Camp for Children and Youth

All children and youth with unchanged (treble) voices entering grades 1 through 8 are encouraged to register for Choir Camp. Participants will sing, laugh, learn, and play in a beautiful and welcoming environment and discover a variety of sacred music spanning the Church’s history, from ancient to modern.

Choir Camp occurs daily from August 8-12, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am until 4:00 pm at St. James Cathedral’s Cathedral Place, located at 803 Terry Avenue. Doors open at 8:30am daily. Camp concludes with all participants returning at 9:00am, Sunday, August 14, to lead music at the 10:00am Cathedral Sunday Mass (this Mass is live-streamed!). Campers are led by Cathedral staff and approved volunteers to share their music through outreach at a mid-week mini-concert, a concert in the Cathedral on Friday, August 12, and at the Sunday 10:00am Mass.

Tuition is $150 per chorister. Scholarships are available–no one will be turned away based upon need.
