Vicar General

Grounded in the example of Jesus, the Office of the Vicar General seeks to form the human person, integrate and celebrate our Catholic cultural communities, and stand with the marginalized until all peripheries are erased. We operate as a field hospital, accompanying the wounded and working to mediate healing, mercy, and love. We desire to make visible the invisible, increase faith, elevate dignity, and include all in the wide embrace of God. In addition, the Vicar General assists the archbishop in the governance of the whole archdiocese, helping with the day-to-day administration and overseeing the pastoral ministries of the chancery. The office is home to three distinct departments:
