World Youth Day 2027
World Youth Day (WYD) 2027, a gathering of young Catholics from all over the world held every three to four years, will be held in Seoul, Korea from August 3 to 8 with Pope Leo. It is a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelization for the world. What does a Local WYD Day look like?
For those not attending World Youth Day in Korea - Attend one of our local events in the Archdiocese of Seattle. More details coming soon. Local events will mirror events taking place in Seoul.
Who should attend Local WYD?
Our local WYD event is for parish youth groups, young adult groups, as well as college-aged young adults and young families. Individuals under the age of 18 can attend with a parent or chaperone.
